In the world we live in something such as little as a pen can be worth so little to us. But how we have been able to truly go from figuring out how one can work to now making thousands of them? It goes to show how engineering has been able to impact the world and what it has done for all of us. We used to think of a pen being the holy grail of engineering now having thousands of them printed a day is absurd, with the power of engineering it really can go to show that anything is possible. Any task that you need to complete can be done with just a mind and a thought of something being possible while yes it is not the first rocket engine or some absurd discovery it goes to show what can be done. What had engineering done for all of us is make our lives better and I hope I can do that too it can disconcert that engineering is a bunch of smart people who try to think of one thing and just try to get it done. But it is much more than that. It goes to be that engineering is the way most of us have food today or with the creation of engineers it has revolutionized our lives. What can be done is a big question for many of us but for an engineer, it is what gets them going to try and change the world even if it is from just a small pen.
